One pack of Ten (10) genuine Shrapnel Balls. These were discovered near Passchendaele, These balls, are made of Lead or steel, they were packed into artillery shells as Anti Personnel, and were devastating for advancing troops. It should be noted that some of these shrapnel will show signs of impact and discolouration.This section of the Western Front was part of the Ypres offensive with actions from both the Canadian and the British forces These shrapnel balls were found on ground between Passchendaele and Zonebeeke, around the location of the German Front Line trenches.
