Also included is a KSLI cap badge. Charles William Johnson was born in 1876 at St Mary’s, Stafford. He served in India with the 2nd Battalion, KSLI from 1905 to 1910. Charles died of wounds on 19th May 1916 at 17th Casualty Clearing Station, aged 40.
