this is a very large shell base ( 4 kilos ) which was made in the city of karlsruhe germany in 1917 and this has a diameter of 9.1/4" and is very heavy ! this has trench art type design round the edge with birds of peace and decoration in the middle with ribbons . this has a nice old patina almost looking bronze .this has a few light scratches otherwise fine ! please look at all the photos
