1930s Atlantic City BABETTE’S Restaurant Cafe Wooden Clapper Noise Maker History

Babette's originally opened in the early 1920s as the "Golden Inn" by Dan Stebbins. Because of this, it was heavily investigated by federal authorities and was eventually raided in 1943. The club was sold in 1950 and eventually torn down.
