General Sir Ronald Forbes Adam, 2nd Baronet, GCB, DSO, OBE (30 October 1885 – 26 December 1982), served with distinction in both world wars. As Adjutant-General to the Forces, Adam was the British Army’s second most senior officer from June 1941 until the end of the Second World War.
