14450431 PTE. G. WILLIAMS. R. LEICESTERS. On 5 November the Battalion took part in the second Battle of Maryang-San, afterwards known as the Gunpowder Plot Battle. It is reported the Leicesters fought magnificently and continued to show high fighting qualities during the remainder of the year in which the Battalion campaigned in Korea.
