This is a 3D printed replica of the HESH-T (High Explosive Squash Head - Tracer) shell fired by the 76mm gun used by the British Armed Forces in the Cold War period and afterwards. Fitted to such armoured vehicles as the Scorpion Light Tank, and the Saladin Armoured Car, this shell when fired would ‘squash’ onto the target before detonating, causing spalling inside This 3D printed replica features accurate stencilled details throughout, and is multicolour printed to the correct colours for a 1970s-80s shell. Owing to the tracer unit on the base, this is better displayed in an original casing, but with careful balancing can be made to stand by itself Please note that as with all my replicas, this is not nor cannot be made into actual ordnance
