HMS Belfast is one of the last surviving ships from WWII to have seen active service. She lies on the river Thames, owned and preserved by the Imperial War Museum. Amid her fearsome array of armament, her main battery consisted of 12 6 inch guns, and it is this shell that those guns would have fired. My replica shell is fully printed in colour and features accurate stencilled markings, consistent with the real shell. This is not a small display piece - the shell measures 650mm tall and 162mm at the widest point. Perfect for the amateur naval historian. As with all my replica shells, this is not nor can it ever be converted into actual ordnance
