This is a 3D printed replica of the APDS (armour-piercing discarding-sabot) round that was fired by the RARDEN 30mm autocannon. This particular weapon was fitted to British light tanks and IFVs in the later stages of the Cold War, the Falklands and the Gulf War The replica round comes mounted into a printed casing as a single piece, and features accurate coloured materials to reflect an original APDS round. Test fitting with my own RARDEN clip shows the round seats nicely into it and is held firm As with all my 3D printed replicas, this is not and cannot be converted into actual ordnance
