This listing is for a lot or 7 British WW1 brass button polishing/cleaning stick relics found fieldwalking across the battlefields of Ypres and the Somme. Some are private purchase and markings can be seen on some. Each soldier was issued one of these and would hook it around a button or other brass fitting on their uniform to polish it without getting the polish on their uniform fabric, which could discolour or damage it.
