Beautiful early Edwardian full dress dolman tunic of Captain Gerard William Burton, DSO, of the 39th Garhwal Rifles, killed on 12th October 1915 near Givenchy. He was promoted to Captain, and Burton served in the 2nd Battalion of the 39th Garhwal Rifles.
