An antique 18th or early 19th century Dutch oval brass snuff / tobacco box with engraved portrait of a lady to the top named below ‘Maria’, perhaps a depiction of Queen Mary I. Maximum length 9.5cm, maximum width 6cm, maximum height 2.8cm. Overall in good condition a few dings and surface scratches related to age and use, closing shut well and functioning correctly.
