She married Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia in 1889. She gave birth to two children Grand Duchess Marie Pavlovna but sadly died at Ilyinskoe Estate in Moscow aged only twenty-one during problems giving birth to Grand Duke Dmitri Pavlovich.
