This is a collection of 95 cigarette silks which have been sewn onto a silk backing panel. These silks were given away in packets of cigarettes and deliberately designed to appeal to women, who often sewed them into decorative panels. The workmanship on this panel is not very good, very large stitches have been used, edges are not neat, etc but there are some rare silks here. I have another panel for sale which is of much higher quality workmanship.
