This item is an antique World War One commemorative mug, produced around 1919 to mark the end of the Great War. It features a transfer print of Britannia seated with allied flags, a dove, and the words "PEACE", "LIBERTY", "JUSTICE", "TRUTH", and "HONOUR". These mugs were commonly made by Staffordshire potteries, such as Burslem Potteries or Booths, in England. However, there are no marks on this item indicating the manufacturer. Many such mugs were given to school children to celebrate Armistice Day or the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.
