The Cylon Raider is the standard air/space superiority fighter utilized by the Cylons in the 2004 Battlestar Galactica series. They are typically deployed in large swarms from basestars and are used to intercept Colonial Vipers and occasionally bombard ground-based targets or large spacecraft.
