Helmet was used operationally in the 80s and early 90s, by a fleet air arm Lieutenant Commander flying Sea King helicopters, mainly from the HMS Ark Royal. There are many marks and scratches from its heavy usage. The plastic wire covering for the radio connector perished with age and fell away, so the exposed wiring is seen, shown on photos. Additionally much of the foam padding inside has perished. Includes the original fabric carrying case too. Size is medium. Any questions please ask!
