Ready to play and to display, though I would always advise an electrical safety (PAT) test before regular use for any older electrical device. As one of my photos shows, there’s a small hairline stress crack to the top of the case, probably caused by heat from the internals, but it doesn’t penetrate the case and it’s tightly closed.
