This is an unusual c1820-50 vintage novelty pewter snuff box entitled Take Your Tythe with a smallholder scene of a man stealing a piglet with the sow tugging on his coat tails! with the farmer and his wife one holding a pitchfork and the other holding aloft a walking stick with a mother holding a baby with a young child at her side watching on.It is in a good condition with a dent to one side edge and it has a loose hinge and it’s overall measurements are 7cm long x 4.3cm wide x 1.6cm deep.
