Christa won the Teacher In Space competition and flew on the Space Shuttle STS 51 L mission which tragically exploded during the launch. The display consists of an envelope which Christa has hand signed and dedicated, an original NASA 8x10 lithograph showing Christa in her blue training suit and a STS 51 L mission patch completes the display.
