Released in 1985 as the first talking toys. They read a cassette inserted in Mickeys back and when connected the both tell the story. They have been tested and the sounds work although the eyes and mouth do not fully operate. The clips on the battery box on Mickeys back have broken so needs to be held/taped shut to play the sounds and the tape. Comes with one tape and book as pictured. In original boxes in pretty good condition for the age and also the original jack lead to link the two together. Requires 8x C type batteries (4 in each) They are very large hence the high postage costs. Any questions please ask!
