I've had this from new (over 18 years) It has sat on a shelf this whole time. There is dust on it The mayor's hat unscrews as it is delicate and could be damaged in transit The globe is still securely glues down (as far as I can tell) , but it looks like the base inside the globe has lifted at the back (see photos)
