These buttons are in extremely good condition for there age found in my grandads belongings give him by his dad. There a great find and I belive should go back to there home in USA time period is 1680/ 1800 and they hav a back loop of brass and tin alloy with the buttons them selves out of a Pewter and copper Alloy. I looked at dome others on the market and mind are very much better quality. They get there name as nipple buttons from the nipple like shape from the way they are cast when made.
