This is a fine classic example of a miners large curved brass snuff box. There are some small knocks to the base as expected from a piece of this age. It is beautifully engraved to the top and has a wonderful curved shape to place in pocket. The hinge works well and it opens and closes firmly.Its very tactile and pleasing to the eye.
