Genuine WW2 British Army Pith Helmet Wolseley Pattern Captain Vezey 1941

£208.69

A genuine WW2 British Army Pith Helmet. It is stamped with a Crow's Foot, the letter W and also the latter P, which I believe signifies it was issued in 1941. 634 is also written inside the lining, probably relating to 6 3/4 head size. Interestingly the name Captain Vezey is written twice on the hat. I have done some basic searches and a Captain Ted Vezey did serve in India and Burma in WW2. The hat itself is in pretty good condition considered it is 85 years old. Some of the foil has peeled off and there is a little foxing on the outside, but other than than that it is tip top.
