A genuine vintage pair of WW2 era black leather flying boots, 1936 pattern, style U669, UK size 10. The boots have a sheepskin lining, a V shaped slit at the top with a strap and buckle fastening. The sole measures 30cm long x 11cm wide. The heels have been replaced at some point and it has an old repair to the back of the heel ( see all photos ), otherwise all in genuine vintage condition. This rare pair of boots would almost certainly have been used during the Battle of Britain and as such would make a great addition to any WW2 / RAF collection or ideal for re-enactors / tv / film prop.
