Grundig Satellit 500 Shortwave Radio - Clean Casing, Powers On, No Sound (For Repair/Parts) LCD display screen is functional as shown, clear, and showing frequencies. The battery compartment is exceptionally clean with zero acid leakage, and all case screws have been safely removed/replaced. Opened up to check the board fuse, which is intact, checked the headphone jack, no static. Beyond my knowledge what's up with it. The display powers up, but there is absolutely no sound or static from the speaker, and no signal meter response. Sold strictly as-is for parts, restoration, or repair. Untested with just batteries. Comes with a new myvolts compatible adapter and a reprint of the Instructions as shown. Full telescopic aerial.
