Launched in 1821 in Bombay, the second HMS Ganges was a 84-gun second-rate teak ship of the line, famously serving as the Royal Navy's last sailing ship to act as an admiral's flagship. After her active service in the Pacific, she became a training vessel in 1865 before being broken up in 1930.
