This rare Italian Bitossi ceramic piggy bank in the shape of a boar was designed by Aldo Londi and made in Italy in the 1960s. A black glazed boar-shaped bank featuring vibrant orange and white hand-painted dots and a simple orange curved line on the side. These mid-century modern banks are highly collectible, with original 1960s Bitossi versions valued significantly higher than standard mass-produced ceramic banks. The stopper is missing, but I am currently sourcing one as a replacement.
