James Carne VC Korea, BOB ace Wg Cdr Martin DFC signed on his Test Pilot cover.

Awarded for actions during the Korean War. In the 1951 Battle of the Imjin River, Carne led The Glorious Glosters in a famous stand against an overwhelming Chinese attack on Gloster Hill. Richard Frewen Martin, OBE DFC and, Bar AFC (26 July 1918 - 1 September 2006) was a British test pilot.
