John Flamsteed First Astronomer Royal signed Vellum document date 1665 , this document appears to a legal contract written in Latin while working for his father before becoming an Astronomer, Written in Latin which was quite common at that time signed as Johan Flamsteed. He became Astronomer Royal 1675 appointed by King Charles II . This is from my own collection of Astronomical History. A very rare document.
