This is an interesting collection of 10 envelopes sent to RQMS William Lummis MC (1886-1985) whilst on active service with the 11th Hussars, together with a photograph of him on horseback. He served on the Western Front throughout the War, taking part in the Retreat from Mons and seeing action in Flanders.
