This is a self made r eproduction WW2 Red Army plain unmarked armband, made of red cotton sourced here in the UK. Band is approx 13 cm x 44 cm. Possibly introduced by Chief of the General staff A. I. Egorov on 21st October 1935 as part of a range of armbands.
