Max Sauze (b. 1933), France. Modernist design. Born in 1933 in Algiers, Algeria, he moved to France for his studies and graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. His designs are characterized by their modernist approach, with many of them becoming iconic pieces representative of mid-century modern French design.
