Mid-century studio pottery lidded urn with pedestal base in a rich mottled green volcanic glaze. The surface has a classic “fat lava” look with layered tones of moss, olive, and darker speckling. Nicely proportioned form with a tall finial lid, giving it a strong decorative presence. Decorative piece rather than utilitarian. Measures approximately 8.5 inches tall, 4 inches wide, with a 2.75 inch base. Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. Typical glaze variation and kiln effects throughout.
