Now then, you don’t see many of these. They are German ID tags which were attached to the collar of army defence force security dogs. They are mostly from the late 20s and early 30s. They are just over 2cm wide and most are alloy but a few are 800 or 900 grade silver. They are very thin and only weigh a couple Of grams so you are buying history and not precious metal. Each tag is etched with the name of the handler, a date and and a combination of of numbers such as 20W 151H which is likely to indicate Wehrmacht and the designated number of the dog. They are blank to the rear. The sale is for ONE tag - it will be a random selection from those in the photo of them all.
