This model of the C47 was cast from the original parts of the C47 S.N.A.F.U. SPECIAL from the USAAF. You can still see the SNAFU Special at the Morville Battery in France. The model comes with a certificate of authenticity. It was created using a sand casting method, which means that, in addition to being made from the aluminium of the original aircraft, it is one-of-a-kind. The sand mould had to be broken to retrieve the model, ensuring that no two were the same. My models are made in memory of all the aircrews from World War I and II. Remember their names, and they will live on. The wingspan of the model is 19.5 cm, and the fuselage measures 13.5 cm.
