ERROR: An interesting example showing an unusual purple ink transfer/offset mark in the watermark panel, overlapping the circular Provincial Banks logo and extending towards the serial number. A faint corresponding transfer is also visible on the reverse. I have not attempted to clean, wash or press the note. The paper appears original. I cannot confirm whether this is a minor production printing defect or later ink transfer, so please examine the high-resolution photographs and satisfy yourself before bidding. A scarce and interesting note that may appeal to collectors of Provincial Bank of Ireland issues and banknote varieties. The photographs form an important part of the description.
