From other postcards and paperwork found with this postcard, it was written by Pte. A.J. Brinkhurst, D. Coy. No. 3202, 9th Batt. Royal Sussex, B.E.F. to his mother when stationed at Shoreham awaiting passage to Northern France early in WWI. The handwritten message contains references to the activities and conditions of Pte Brinkhurst and his fellow soldiers. In generally good posted condition with a little corner wear.
