this is an original USGI WW2 era nape strap assembly removed from an M1 helmet liner. it is the early fold over ends type, triple HBT od3. it had torn in the centre and repaired with a piece of period webbing, so it is not perfect but a great cheap replacement for a display piece. comes with 3 x blackened brass Semi Tubular rivets, correct for period (purchased from J Murray 1944) please see photos. shows the nape strap assembly as it is and also how it looks fitted in a liner. the liner is for display purposes and is not included.
