Five original equipment stowage labels, made for Motor Torpedo Boats during World War Two. Four are aluminium: Torpedo Tube Impulse Locker, 4.5 Gun R/U Locker, Oerlikon Gun R/U Locker and Bofors Gun Clearing Charge Locker. The fifth is of brass, “M.T.B.” I was given these by my uncle in the 1980s. He was an engineer at James Miller Boatyard, St Monance, Fife, which made MTBs, MGBs and Inshore Minesweepers for the Royal Navy during WW2. These were still in store at that time. Slight damage to one corner of the 4.5 label, otherwise all are in good shape.
