Original Japanese M30/32 (T90) Helmet exported for use by the Thai (Siam) Army during the 1930s. The Japanese sold a surplus of their early M30/32 helmets to the Thai Army pre and during WW2, these were then fixed with the Thai crest badge and fitted with Thai purchased Belgian Adrian liners. This resulted in a number of small holes being visible in the helmet post-conversion to accommodate the new liner. Post WW2, the Thai Army refitted these helmets again, with the crest badge removed and replaced with the simpler gold painted star. However the remnants of the older 1930s/40s crest is still visible on this helmet. With original chinstrap Size approx 57
