This is a really nice 1944 dated MkIII turtle helmet that has been re- used post war, possibly in the Korean conflict. The shell itself is 1944 dated and made by Ro and Co, while the TTC liner is 1953 dated. The paint is in fantastic condition and as the photos show it is untouched, still covered in the cobwebs it was found with. It has some unexplained quirks, such as the apparent elephant sticker on the rim and made in the USA one on the liner. The liner itself is fitted in an unorthodox manner but I suspect this to be field done. Either way a nice looking piece Feel free to ask questions
