Original WW2 US M1 helmet liner made by Westinghouse green clips/washers fitted to liner, approximately 1943 era, comes with original Headband with green clips, leather is dry and cracking and note a small piece of wire fitted to the headband probably by the soldier?. There is a small crack at the back of the liner shell as seen and bumps and marks on the liners surface, part of the suspension webbing is worn as seen. A broken WW2 period United Carr leather chin strap still attached and finally the painted markings on the liner i cannot confirm they are WW2 period, but do make for good display.
