Large group photograph of HMS Lark cadets. Alfred Francis Blakeney Carpenter VC appears in the group photograph and is annotated as "self" in the handwritten captions beneath the image. He later received the Victoria Cross for his actions during the Zeebrugge Raid of 1918.
