Original 1942–43 membership card for the Press Club of Eritrea, East Africa, issued in Asmara during the British military administration of Eritrea in WWII.Fully printed with handwritten member details – a rare piece of period press/media and colonial history from the East African campaign theatre. The back of the card says 'Buttery Chief Stokers Mess' The card measures 10cm by just over 6cm and is offered in very good condition. A very rare piece of WWII ephemera.
