Scarce Prussian bugle painted in Field Grey, maker-marked ‘Berlin’. Example is dated and appears to be 1915. The original sling hoop is present but sadly chain is missing. Mouthpiece is present. Some knocks and scrapes to body as expected with use in the field but the metalwork is solid. Prussian eagle is strongly in situ and these field painted examples are very hard to find now.
