having a clear out and found this in a box. this was a Christmas present in the 90s that never really got used much. I know it was a lot of money back then for what it was. I've put new batteries in the unit and the screen powers up but there appears to be a line across the top of the display. I wasn't able to tune it into any VHF or UHF channels and I dont have an AV source to plug into it. for this reason I'm selling as spares or repair
