Rare original hand signed photo from diminutive comedian "Wee" Georgie Wood, who, like the later Jimmy Clitheroe, made a career out of eternally playing a child. Born in 1895 he went on the stage aged 5 in 1900 and was a big star through the First World War and 20s and 30s. His csreer declined thereafter when it became increasing unlikely in his child roles but he contined until retiring in 1953 then lived on in retirement until 1979.
