This is a reproduction of the cold weather jerkin issued to officers, NCOs and soldiers of the British Army in both World Wars to be worn over service and battledress uniforms. The size on the label indicates 46-48" chest but I would suggest it's probably more like a 44-46", particularly if worn over uniform.
